Deep drawings

A hand-drawn poetic illustration showing a book whose pages transform into trees—one bearing fruit, the other sprouting a leaf from a peach. Beneath, roots and earth connect the scenes. Next to it, a reflective poem by Wiesje Christine Verpeut

Can you gaze upon my seasons and just enjoy them?
Autumn, winter, spring and summer
The one is not without the other

Come, enjoy the fruit of my harvest
Eat from me, my dearest
Burst my bubble
Into the leaves that are falling
Without trouble
I’m coming, I’m calling

Ow yes, winter, spring and summer have passed
You gazed at me and intertwined with a blast
None can come and have no change
For we are the rainbow range
A sparkle of dust causing a bubble burst

The illusion has so many facets
Autumn colour collection of fading
None is worthy of our rating
Just enjoy the gazing
Of the many faces and angles of the assets

Yeah, autumn is the season of ripe fruit
Eat and enjoy what we have planted in our youth
Smile, for this moment of truth
Will soon grow again
Into another season of winter,
spring and summer
To finalize its circlewise
In autumns pouring of pure rain
Rainbow and lightning clouds
The casting of many crowds
The illusion drained

The eye of love

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
or when the only thing you can see is beauty
because of looking through the eye of the universe.

A surreal pencil drawing of an eye shaped like lips, with a heart as its pupil — titled ‘the eye of love’, it symbolizes perception through the lens of tenderness, and the merging of seeing, feeling, and speaking in one gaze
