Amber & Connor:
wedding rings - June 2026
It is a pleasure and an honor to be able to make something for people you know, family in particular. And for me, it is an even greater joy and pride to be able to create something together.
For instance, a few months ago, Amber, my niece's daughter, approached me with the big news that she and her boyfriend would be tying the knot in early June 2026 and asked if there was a possibility to design their wedding rings together.
Although they live on the other side of Belgium – read: more than a 3-hour drive – we were able to make time to arrive at their design together. They started sculpting the beginning of their cast rings themselves in one piece as a symbol of their unity. Even after casting their rings, I kept them in one piece for as long as possible while shaping their final rings.
The emotional value grows enormously when people can work on their own rings, and that is precisely what fascinates me about such commissions: being able to fully integrate them into the creation process.
I am so grateful that we were able to accomplish this together and that they now have rings that are inextricably linked, in love and in time.
Much love to them!
