A fantastic time later, …
everything simpler, more peaceful, more breathing…
and above all, much freer …
i am here with my first update …

During my pregnancy, I had an ocean of time to think about which direction life calls me once our little girl arrives.
And the only thing I wanted – and still want – is a simple life
or the simplicity of life with as few obligations as possible while letting go of having to ‘meet expectations’…

Meanwhile, life goes on, and something kept bringing me back to my outdated business cards and the fact that I no longer had anything to give people that was ‘up to date’. But as always, I can’t create anything without having visualized it or without a deep peacefulness overwhelming me… so a slumber lingered like an item on a ‘to-do’ list that keeps getting postponed. (who recognizes this? hahaha)

But then I started designing the birth announcements for our little girl… which led me to the idea of: “Let me, … instead of business cards, … making those good old ‘postcards’ again, with my details just ‘coincidentally’ included on them.” - i tell you: happy, peaceful feeling, like: “yes, this is it!”
Then wondering: “But what exactly should be written on it?” …
Just a little later, I saw my first post on my Instagram account,
a small drawing I once made with the text:

“LOVE, your very being.”

Encouraging words, because they can be interpreted in different ways. So I added on the back: “Love your very being by knowing that LOVE … is your very being.”

Believe it or not, it gave me such a boost to get back to work, to create things, to write, to fantasize, and above all… to share here again.

And then, I had only just put the postcards into production when a friend contacted me:
“Wiesje, your old postcards that I always used to send to my clients from my coaching practice have run out… do you still have any?”

With a smile, because the timing of the universe invariably continues to surprise us, I was able to tell her that I had just made new ones.
Her package of postcards left earlier today.

What an encouragement to be able to be an encouragement to others, each in our own way. Even though I realize that we live in times when love among people is growing cold, I will continue to say that love, first for ourselves and from there towards others, is what binds us all together.

Let me know if i can make you happy with some of these postcards as well … i still have some left over. lol.
